During the past few hours, a clip from a rare video of the leader, Adel Imam, has spread, in which he talks regarding the scenes of his meeting with Abdel Halim Hafez.
Adel Imam spoke in the video, which the pioneers of social networking sites re-circulated extensively, regarding his relationship with the brown nightingale, and said, “He was in friendship between me and Abdel Halim Hafez in the last ten years.”
And regarding the beginning of his meeting with him, he said, “A long time ago I used to look at the stars and say, ‘Who is Abdel Halim Hafez? Why do they do a shower, even though I love him very much and love his songs?
He continued, “He and Professor Mufid Fawzi were watching the play Watch Mashafesh Haga, and Peggy was specially watching the court scene.”
He also showed during the episode clips of the leader’s meeting with the Nightingale, where they gathered a lyrical duet from inside Abdel Halim’s recording studio.
As for his love for Umm Kulthum, he said, “I love Umm Kulthum, and with time, I long for the past, and this era was filled with high cultural values like Bayram al-Tunisi.”
It is noteworthy that Adel Imam’s latest work was the series “Valentino” in 2020 with Dalal Abdel Aziz, Samir Sabry, Hoda Al-Mufti, Amr Wahba, Tariq Al-Abiari and other elite stars.
