The coach who was world champion with the Argentine National Team in 1976, Cesar Luis Menotti, is hospitalized following a domestic accident.
Menotti is in the Buenos Aires hospital, following a fall at his home, but for the moment everything was just “a scare”, as anticipated by his relatives.
The fall would have caused internal bleeding that forced his hospitalization, but these same sources pointed out to Télam that there is secrecy in his family regarding recovery periods.
Menotti, what will turn 85 on October 22, according to him, or on November 5, according to his identity document, he is the director of national teams and was the mentor of the arrival of Lionel Scaloni to the technical direction of the Argentine team.
The first news regarding it came from a Mexican journalist through the social network twitter and, as always happens, some media echoed it, since it mentioned a “delicate state of health” of “Flaco”.
