The Astronomical Society in Jeddah monitored the encounter of Saturn with the sun in the earth’s sky, where the earth will be between Saturn and the sun at a distance of 1,310,477,347 km, and the planet’s disk is 100% illuminated by sunlight, and its disk will have a diameter of 19.0 arc seconds and its apparent luminosity (+0.4), and in conjunction with that it will be in closest distance from Earth. The head of the Astronomical Society in Jeddah, Eng. Majid Abu Zahra, stated that the encounter represents the middle of the best time of the year to see Saturn and its moons. Since Earth is regarding 300 million kilometers closer to the planet; Because they are on the same side of the sun compared to when the planet is in solar conjunction, but even when Saturn is at its closest point to Earth, it is still far away. And he indicated that the planet Saturn will be observed above the southeastern horizon following sunset and the beginning of the night, as it will appear as a golden point to the naked eye for its brightness and reach the highest point in the sky at regarding midnight, and it will set in the southwest with sunrise, which means that it will be seen all night, which is the best time to watch Photographing Saturn and its moons. Abu Zahra pointed out that the wonderful appearance of Saturn will not be limited to the night of the meeting only, as it will be in a good condition for monitoring in the evening sky for several months to come, useful that Saturn is the sixth planet in terms of distance from the sun and it is the farthest planet in the solar system and can be easily seen with the naked eye. It has many rings that consist of small pieces of ice, and Saturn has 62 documented moons, and only 53 of them have been named, and 13 of them have diameters greater than 50 kilometers, so this planet is a beautiful world in every sense of the word when viewed through a telescope.
