Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has admitted that the diplomatic message from the Pakistan Embassy in the United States was lost. He admitted this while being interrogated by the Federal Investigation Agency, who is incarcerated in Attock Jail. He was interrogated by anti-terrorist officers on Sunday.
Imran Khan was jailed for three years in the Tosha Khana case in which he sold foreign gifts received while he was the prime minister. A few days ago, he was also implicated in the Cipher case in which classified documents were lost.
Imran had claimed that the message sent from the Pakistan Embassy in the United States contained evidence of a conspiracy by the United States to oust him from the post of Prime Minister. These documents were also highlighted in the election rallies.
However, Imran has now clarified that these have been lost. Imran told the investigating team that he did not remember where these were kept.
