Japan aims for first moon landing with daring Slim mission
In order to prepare for the next steps in robotic and human exploration of the Solar System, Jaxa, the Japanese space agency, is developing small, light and high-precision lander technology. To test and validate it in real conditions, Jaxa has developed the Slim mission which is regarding to take off to reach the Moon. It will aim for a precision landing in a rugged region in 4 to 6 months.

Neptune’s mysterious dark spot detected for the first time from Earth
In 1989, the Voyager 2 spacecraft, while flying over Neptune for the first time in the history of the noosphere, revealed what until recently eluded telescopes on Earth’s soil: an analogue of Jupiter’s Great Red Spot. Neptune’s Great Dark Spot is even more enigmatic but is now within range of Earth instruments, which should provide new data to unlock its secrets.
