He’s a newcomer to the festival scene. EnPagaill’ takes place this Saturday August 26 at the foot of the Château de Gaillon in the Eure. For one day, nine groups, from Normandy or elsewhere, will follow one another on stage. On the menu, pop, rock, reggae, dub, everyone will find their vibration.
This is the story of a group of friends who made their wishes come true! Merchants and entrepreneurs from Gaillon wanted to animate their town, and created the EnPagaill’ association. Fête de la musique, costumed New Year’s Eve or Guinguette on the farm, these friends are not at their first attempt.
A music festival, they dreamed of it, and they did it.
The first edition of Festival EnPagaill’ takes place this Saturday, August 26 at the foot of the Renaissance castle of Gaillon.
The organizers wanted to invite artists from the region but not only, and offer a varied program. Nine artists or bands will take turns on the EnPagaill’ stage.

Fabasstone is from Lyon, and did not only come to Gaillon out of friendship for the president of the festival, Mickaël Revy. If the artist is part of Highstone, one of the pioneering groups of French dub, he came here solo, out of conviction. “Culture is essential, it’s what shows that we don’t just live and work. There is this extra dimension that makes us human beings, art, encounters, warmth. I, who have been a musician for 20 years, it is essential to bring this type of festival to life. Not much happens here, yet the city is magnificent with this castle”.The artist will defend his reggae-dub on stage tonight.

The Gaillonnais are not unhappy to take advantage of this first music festival. “I had never been to a festival, I hear a lot regarding it, and the fact that it’s in Gaillon, in a super pretty setting, allows me to see a bit of what it’s like !” pours out this smiling Euroise.
To find a balance, the organizers of this first Festival Gaillonnais estimate that they will have to make 300 entries, taking into account the 150 pre-sold tickets.
