Green club chairwoman welcomes the proposals presented today to improve traffic safety along the S4 and now sees the need for the state of Lower Austria
St. Polten (OTS) – The club chairwoman of the Lower Austrian Greens and traffic spokeswoman, Helga Krismer, welcomes the immediate road safety measures on the S4 presented today. A few weeks ago, Krismer carried out a local inspection at the entrance to the S4 in Wiener Neustadt. She also handed over a letter to the district authority of Wiener Neustadt, in which she suggested various measures to increase traffic safety for this route.
“Through today’s safety summit, Climate Protection Minister Leonore Gewessler, in cooperation with Asfinag and the states of Lower Austria and Burgenland, clearly signaled that she supports measures to increase traffic safety on the S4. It is now in the hands of the federal states, and in particular the Lower Austrian Transport State Councilor Udo Landbauer, to quickly implement the measures proposed by Asfinag and thus prevent further accidents on this route,” says Helga Krismer.
