In the same spirit as for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the State is setting up social ticketing for the Rugby World Cup.
As such, Aurélien Rousseau, Minister of Health and Prevention, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, Minister of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and Agnès Firmin Le Bodo, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Health and Prevention in charge of of Territorial Organization and Health Professions, wanted to honor the staff working in public health establishments, who are on the “front line” at the service of French men and women, and fully embody the values of the service public, which are also those of rugby: solidarity, dedication and courage.
5440 places will be allocated to them: from the opening match “France-New Zealand” (150 places) to the “small final” (130 places), through all the matches of the XV of France, but also particularly promising posters such as “South Africa-Ireland” (170 places), or “Wales – Australia” (120 places).
These places can be allocated to staff, whatever their profession, with the point of attention being asked of the directors of establishments to ensure a social dimension in the process of allocating tickets.
This initiative marks the recognition and gratitude of the two ministries towards the nursing staff engaged in public service and who protect the health of French people on a daily basis.
