CM Punk is set to make his return to All Elite Wrestking and is expected to be one of the top stars to appear on Collision, AEW’s new show set to launch in June. While a rivalry once morest Chris Jericho had been proposed for the former AEW champion, the latter would rather return by facing someone else.
According to people close to CM Punk picked up by Fightful, CM Punk is interested in working with Samoa Joe, who has been absent from AEW shows since losing the TNT title to Revolution and has since appeared on ROH.
Fightful does not know if it will be a match or a rather long storyline and if AEW is really going with this idea. In any case, the last time CM Punk and Samoa Joe faced each other was in 2005 on the side of ROH.
One of the most famous wrestlers around the world, Will Ospreay, will be part of the AEW PPV card All In.
Dave Meltzer confirmed, on Wrestling Observer Radio, the presence of the British wrestler, who works mainly for New Japan Pro Wrestling, at Wembley Stadium on August 27.
Ospreay had shown interest during an interview with Dark Puroresu Flowsion.
“All the love in the world to everyone and her amazing crew [AEW]. I hope there will be an opportunity as one of the guys who carries the flag of [l’Angleterre] everywhere I go. Doing this would finally make my father proud.
