The Sara María Furman Foundation, owner of the Cerro Otto Cable Car tourist complex, added two solidarity actions this week with intermediate organizations in Bariloche.

More than 600 kids who attend different Bariloche picnic areas received gifts and a special snack with the contribution of the foundation, which has a social responsibility policy and distributes its dividends with non-profit entities each year.

This proposal reached two picnic areas from the Vivero neighborhood, “Fortaleza Infantil” and “Pan de Paz”, and another from the Arrayanes neighborhood, “For a better family” who lived a special followingnoon last Sunday.

The Sara María Furman Foundation made an investment of 500,000 pesos to buy toys, milk, sugar, cocoa and sweets for the 600 boys and girls who shared the day with staff from the tourist complex.

Also, the entity that operates one of the most visited tourist complexes in the city, signed a sponsorship agreement with the San José Obrero Foundation, which carries out comprehensive education and training work attended by hundreds of young people from the most vulnerable neighborhoods.

The agreement, signed by the head of the Sara María Furman Foundation, Oscar Borrelli, and his partner from the San José Obrero Foundation, Fernando Fernández Herrero, consisting of a monthly economic contribution from the owner of the Cable Car, which will thus collaborate with the educational, work and family task in the populous neighborhoods of Bariloche.

Solidarity is one of the precepts left by the creator of the Furman Foundation, Boris Furman, according to Borrelli who gave an example, among the many works that the entity has to its credit, “the solidarity bakery La Sarita that was in Santa Fe for many years and which originally supplied 1,200 kilos of bread daily to the most humble families in the Santa Rosa de Lima neighborhood of that province, and which later also became a school that trained people deprived of their freedom in conditions of labor exits”.
