Winston-Salem.- Less than a week before the return to school, North Forsyth High School opened its doors to students and their families.
The reason was the Open Doors event (Open House), carried out with the aim of informing students regarding the rooms they will occupy.
In addition, parents had the opportunity to meet who will be their children’s teachers and the classrooms where they will take their classes.
Entire families attended the event, from those who have a child in their first year to those who passed a grade.
The Open House took place in a calm environment, for which the teachers and staff of the school played a very important role.
Principal Bridget Hayes, who has held the position since January, was on hand coordinating the event and helping students find their classrooms.
Hayes shared with Qué Pasa that at his first start of the course at North Forsyth he seeks to bring together all the resources that young people use.
For Latino families, Miss Torres was on the lookout for those who already know her and know that she speaks Spanish.
Miss Torres was on the lookout for questions regarding bus routes, class details, and parents who wanted to know more regarding back to school.
In this way, both parents and students were able to have the necessary information for the start of classes.
