Two men were arrested this Thursday night accused of threats and damage following the attempted looting of a Chinese supermarket in the city of Bell Ville while there are two fugitives, according to police sources.

It all started on Wednesday followingnoon, according to the reconstruction of La Voz, when audio messages began to circulate in different WhatsApp groups with a call to loot various businesses, including the Chinese supermarket located at Deán Funes 432, half a block away. from Rubén Márquez square.

An important piece of information, since in front of the square and less than 150 meters from the supermarket that was marked as the target of the criminal act there is a police station. The information regarding the call reached the ears of the police and the Bell Ville Prosecutor’s Office headed by Nicolás Gambini.

A prevention operation was quickly arranged, which even included civilian troops. Late at night, people began to gather in the area of ​​the square to carry out the attack on the store.

The owners took to the streets to confront them, but the police operation was also deployed. The criminals threw stones at the security forces, who responded with rubber bullets.

In the incident, two Bell Ville municipal guard vehicles were damaged and a house on the block ended up with broken windows. The skirmishes continued until following midnight, but the criminals might not carry out the looting.

Arrested in Bell Ville

The prosecutor requested three raids this Thursday night in the Costa Esperanza neighborhood, where Juan Antonio Guevara (25) and Pablo Ramón Bustos (31) were arrested, charged as alleged perpetrators of threats and damage.

As for the other two suspects, they were not at the time of the operations. Eter, the Infantry Guard, the Investigations Division and the Preventive Patrol intervened.
