For this last stage of this 25th edition of the Beau Vélo de RAVeL, we will lower the curtains following singing and dancing thanks to the group Ykons, during a full concert!
Ykons is an Indie-Pop group made up of 5 musicians who are authors, composers, producers and artistic directors.
After a first album “Reflected” released in January 2019, this group of friends is scouring the Belgian stages and starting to make a name for themselves!
Strong of “Sequoia Trees“, their first single which toured the Belgian national radio stations, Ykons organized the first test concert to revive culture in Belgium. An important moment which opened up the Belgian media field to them.
In the process, “Time” is released, a second single with a catchy chorus. It places the group in the movement of Imagine Dragons, Bastille, etc… while standing out with a unique atmosphere.
After the years 2021 and 2022, marked by more than 60 dates in the flat country and an album release in Madeleine in Brussels, our compatriots are back with a new single “New State of Mind”. Putting a loss of meaning in our society into perspective, but also the desire to always tell ourselves that the positive is never far away!
In April, the Liege Forum was packed for their return to the stage. This summer, Ykons will fill many dates in Belgian but also French festivals. A new album will be released in April 2024 atAB – Old Belgium in Brussels.
