On August 24, mass media wrote that Norway will supply Ukraine with F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets. This has now been officially confirmed.

The information was shared by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre during his visit to Kiev. The number of aircraft is not yet known, but according to several sources it is regarding 5-12 aircraft.

The Norwegian leader stressed that Oslo would move US fighter jets in cooperation with its allies, particularly the Netherlands and Denmark, which had already announced such a move. In total, Ukraine is to receive regarding 70 aircraft.
