The Government of the City of Buenos Aires promotes an increase of 50% in taxi fares, which will begin to be applied between October and November.
The taxi service is, along with the prepaid, the one that rose the most in the year, and beat inflation.
The 50% increase proposed by the Buenos Aires government is approved at the meeting on September 26 with the cameras of the category and it will be distributed in 25% for October and the same in November.

“The update of the rate is a necessary adaptation to ensure the operation of the service, its maintenance, and also support the salary of the workers”, reported from the government of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.
In October, the token will cost $43.80 and in November, it will cost $54.80. Regarding the lowering of the flag, in October it will be worth $430.80 pesos and in November $540.80.
New increase in Buenos Aires taxis
At the beginning of 2023, Buenos Aires taxis had already suffered an increase of 50%. On that occasion, in March it was 30% and in May it was 20% with the idea of concluding with the stipulated increase.
