The 2nd edition of RS Innovation Agro is consolidated and brings even more news to Expointer
RS INNOVATION AGRO, strengthened its relevance in this 2nd edition, as the Ecosystem Space of trends, technologies and new Agro businesses at the 46th Expointer, which takes place from 8/26 to 9/3, at Parque Assis Brasil, in Esteio/RS . The space can be visited by everyone at Casa da FEBRAC (Brazilian Federation of Associations of Breed Animal Breeders), who carried out the project with strategic support from the State Secretariat for Innovation, Science and Technology of RS (SICT-RS.)
Innovation ecosystem with more strength at the 46th Expointer
In 2022, RS INNOVATION AGRO managed to achieve the main objective of its creation with the ‘maximum score’, as it allowed direct contact between Expointer – which is one of the largest fairs in the Brazilian scenario -, with the Ecosystem of innovation, research and technology in its creative core, startups, hubs and investors. “With that, today, we can say that Expointer provides a 360 vision of what exists and what will exist in agribusiness, from small to large producers and creators, for investors, researchers, for negotiators, entities, school and academic circles, and for the International trade relations”, ponders João Francisco Bade Wolf, president of Febrac.
According to him, with this approach during the fair, everyone wins and benefits. “And who will benefit the most is the State of RS and the country, because where there is research, innovation and business, there are more jobs, more opportunities for expansion and economic growth”, emphasizes João.
And as nobody does it alone, the strategic partnership with the State Secretariat for Innovation, Science and Technology of RS (SICT-RS.), was strengthened even more this year. “The RS Innovation Agro was a success in the first edition, in 2022. This year, our intention is to repeat the positive results, expanding the discussions relevant to the challenges that agribusiness faces. Innovation is a way to improve people’s quality of life, and, as agribusiness is dedicated to the use of technologies, our idea is to unite startups, companies, hubs, technology parks and bring qualified names to discuss solutions on our stage”, he emphasizes. to Simone Stülp, Secretary of State for SICT-RS. The government body, within the structure of the space, is responsible for organizing and operating the schedule of lectures and debates that will take place in the Auditorium.

In the space there is a new restaurant operator with a different gastronomic experience this year, created for pleasant, delicious and accessible lunches, which brings differentiated ingredients and meats from the best production in Rio Grande do Sul. Another novelty is Espaço Coffee, a coffee shop with a COWORKING space for companies and startups to carry out networking, meetings and negotiations. “In the 1st edition, we were able to evaluate what worked and what didn’t, and what might be better. In addition to meeting a demand that came as a suggestion from startups and sponsors. Now we have an environment that facilitates integration, negotiation and fraternization between exhibitors, partners and the public in general”, explains Eduardo Borges de Assis, the Vice President of Febrac.

In the previous edition, the robot dog, which received the name of Cusco Tech, is back, but he will not be alone.
