A Moscow court has extended by three months the pre-trial detention of American journalist Evan Gershkovich, arrested in late March in Russia on espionage charges. “The period of detention is extended by three months (…) until November 30”reported the press service of the Lefortovsky court in the Russian capital.

Journalist at Wall Street Journal, Mr. Gershkovich had been arrested by the Russian security services during a report in Yekaterinburg, in the Urals, on March 29.
