Sony announced the first dedicated device for remote control games earlier, which was code-named Project Q at the time. Sony has just announced that Project Q will be named PlayStation Portal and will be priced at US$199.99, equivalent to HK$1,567, enough to buy a Nintendo Switch Lite.
PlayStation Portal has an 8-inch FHD resolution LCD screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz, and includes a DualSense wireless controller with a 3.5mm headphone plug, and supports adaptive triggers and tactile feedback functions. PlayStation Portal needs to be remotely connected to PS5 via WiFi to play, and it cannot be used independently. It supports PS5 games and cloud streaming games borrowed by PlayStation Plus Premium.
