Pyongyang: North Korea’s second attempt to launch a spy satellite has also failed. North Korea started trying to put the satellite into orbit on Thursday morning. North Korea’s rocket took off with the satellite but failed to put it into orbit.

North Korea has announced that it will launch another satellite in October. North Korean news agency KCNA reports that the launch failed due to a malfunction in the rocket’s combustion system.

South Korea said the satellite was launched at 3.50 am on Thursday from the launch pad in Soha. After the satellite launch, Japan issued a warning to the citizens. Japan lifted the warning following 20 minutes.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has estimated that the country’s military capabilities can be increased by launching a spy satellite. Earlier in May, North Korea launched its first spy satellite.
