Hoyos: “It’s regarding moving Austria forward once more. Instead, the ÖVP threatens to stumble once more over its own machinations.”

Vienna (OTS) According to the investigations that became known today regarding surveys commissioned by ÖVP-led ministries, NEOS Secretary General Douglas Hoyos suspects “a new edition of the Beinschab scandal”, which almost two years ago not only cost the ÖVP ex-Chancellor Kurz, but also “ the last spark of trust in the population”: “The ÖVP shows once more and once more that it has a structural problem with corruption. When will they finally learn that the tax money of the Austrians is not the personal basket money of the People’s Party?”

People are fed up with the fact that the ÖVP is constantly dealing with itself and not with the challenges Austria is facing. “It’s regarding moving Austria forward once more. Instead, the ÖVP threatens to stumble once more over its own machinations.” Hoyos calls for rapid clarification by the judiciary – “and without turquoise cross-shots”.
