Bolívar forms the new Special Economic Zone (ZEE) of Campo, announced the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Wednesday followingnoon.

As part of a “Productive Wednesday” session, he indicated that there are 5,453,704 hectares in the Guárico, Anzoátegui, Monagas, Sucre and northern Bolívar states that can be used for the agricultural sector.

There it will be possible to produce soybeans, corn, sorghum, peanuts, cashews, in addition to having bovine, goat and buffalo livestock, forestry, legume, cotton and sunflower production, added the national president.

He maintained that this will be possible with national and international investment, especially that it will be shown at the Brics Summit, where the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, is present.

I point out that it is a “strategy to encourage the participation of businessmen and investors from the Brics countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa).

“We have a proposal to the Brics countries that come to invest and we have created a Special Economic Productive Zone, a Rural Economic Zone for food production,” he insisted.

“The economy of the productive field to satisfy with quality the food of the people, the needs of the country and for the export vocation”, he emphasized.

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, invited the Brics countries to join the productive fields of the nation.

“I am going to invite the Brics countries to invest in the fields of Venezuela, to produce food in Venezuela (…) To the Bank of the Brics, to businessmen from the Brics countries who come to produce with us, with our model”, he highlighted.

He ordered the Ministers of People’s Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, and for Productive Agriculture and Land, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, to resume productivity projects to expose them to the world.

The projects proposed by the Venezuelan president are:

Family farms, communal farms up to those of larger scale and production.

The productive economic circuits of the field.

Financing processes for large investors.

“We ourselves are producing, we demonstrate it: blocked, persecuted, sanctioned and we are producing and we are moving forward. The imperialists of the United States might not with us, nor will they be able to with us. Never once more! We are in a position to fight, to grow and produce our model”, he declared.
