This March, the finals of the varsity championship in the USA will be the focus of attention for basketball fans around the world. All information regarding March Madness 2022 can be found here.

March Madness 2023: schedule, dates

Again this year, March in the USA is all regarding college basketball. The final tournament called March Madness with 68 teams also inspires basketball fans all over the world.

This year, March Madness begins on March 14th. The final will take place on April 3rd.

The exact schedule and the participating teams will not be announced until March 12th, Selection Sunday. Two days later, the qualifying round (First Four) will take place with eight teams. The four winners then complete the field of 64.

The First Round is on March 16th and 17th, and the Second Round is on March 18th and 19th. After a three-day break, the Sweet 16 are scheduled, before the Elite Eight follows on March 25th and 26th. The Final Four in Houston takes place from April 1st to 3rd.

March Madness 2023: Final Four

Again this year, the decision on the winner of March Madness will not be made in March, but in April. The Final Four tournament begins on April 1st with the two semi-finals. The college champion will then be determined on April 3rd.

The venue for the Final Four is NRG Stadium in Houston (Texas), home of the Houston Texans NFL franchise. Over 70,000 spectators will be able to watch the Final Four live on site.

March Madness 2023: broadcast on TV and live stream

DAZN will once once more be providing extensive live broadcasts of March Madness this year. The streaming service will broadcast selected games from the NCAA tournament – including the decisive games of the Final Four, of course.

The exact transmissions will only be known once the games have been precisely scheduled.
