Exciting News: HBO Max Renews ‘And Just Like That’ for a Third Season

HBO Max made a remarkable announcement Tuesday regarding the future of And Just Like Thatand that is sure to delight many fans.

Indeed, the spin-off of the cult series of the 1990s, Sex and the Citywill return for a third season.

This was announced by broadcaster HBO Max a few days before the broadcast of the final episode of the second season, scheduled for Thursday.

Thus, viewers will once once more have the opportunity to follow the adventures of fifty-year-old Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis), who, in the middle of the bustling streets of New York, juggle happy hours, high-profile events, trysts, while adapting to changing cultural norms.

It should be remembered that the second season of this popular dramatic comedy was rich in surprises, marked in particular by the return of Aidan Shaw (John Corbett), Bradshaw’s ex in the original series Sex and the City.

Also, in the second season finale episode, it’s none other than Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) which will finally make its return, to the delight of fans of the series.

It is obviously still too early to reveal the main plot of the said third season, however, through a statement, Michael Patrick Kingthe creator of the series, had this to share:

“We are excited to spend more time in the Sex and the City universe telling new stories regarding the lives of these relatable and ambitious characters played by these incredible actors. And just like that…here is the third season.”
