Update (08/21/2023) – EB
realme has already confirmed that the Buds Air 5 headphones will be launched next Wednesday in India and now the company has also revealed when the new realme GT5 will be launched in China through a publication on Weibo, one of the most popular social networks in Asia.
As we can see above, realme GT5 will be launched on August 28, 2023 in an event that will be held at 2 pm according to China local time.
Unfortunately the image does not indicate any technical specifications of realme GT5, but the leaker Digital Chat Station recently revealed that it should have a 6.67-inch OLED display with 144Hz 1.5K resolution. The chipset should be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with up to 24GB of RAM including virtual RAM support.
In addition, realme also revealed that the realme Buds Air 5 will also be revealed at the same event in China, which opens up the possibility for combos with freebies at the launch of both.
The poster indicates that the headphones will have active noise cancellation capable of neutralizing noise up to 50 dB thanks to artificial intelligence integrated into the device.

Realme Buds Air 5 will be launched globally next Wednesday (23)
A realm confirmed this Friday (18) the launch of the Buds Air 5 Bluetooth headphones in India next Wednesday (23), renewing the brand’s wearable portfolio in the Asian country. In addition to the traditional version, the announcement should also include the Pro variant that shares some characteristics of its smaller “brother”, but with internal improvements.
The indication of launch in India points to the possibility of the devices also being made official in other regions, but there is still no information regarding this. On the technical front, the Buds Air 5 Pro comes equipped with 11mm woofers and 6mm planar drivers, as well as active noise cancellation (ANC) and high bitrate LDAC codec support.

realme points out that the active noise cancellation of the wearable can efficiently suppress sounds of up to 50dB using the triple set of microphones that equip the accessories.
Both feature water and dust resistance and in-ear fit construction. Battery life varies according to the usage profile, especially if ANC is enabled, but the average is 40 hours combining the power of the earphones with the extra charge from the charging case, which acts as a powerbank for the headphones.
The company’s statement does not indicate the price, but some rumors suggest that the most expensive (and complete) option will hit the shelves with a suggested price of CNY 399, regarding R$ 270 in direct conversion.
