O Telegram it has several ways of personalization, as we have shown in several articles that we have already done.
One of them, which is little known by many, allows you to add a custom notification sound within the application itself — either choosing one that has been sent via message or manually uploading it.
See how to proceed! ????
From an audio sent via message
Open the conversation where the MP3 audio was sent. Then hold your finger on it (in the case of iPhone/iPad) or right-click (in Mac) and select “Save to Notifications”.
Once this is done, go to the tab represented by a gear (“Settings”) and select “Notifications and Sounds”.
On iPhone/iPad, choose from “Private Chats”, “Groups”, “Channels” or “Stories”, tap “Sound” and then choose the ringtone whose name will appear in the “Telegram Sounds” section. For Mac, just go to “Notification Tone”.
It’s important that the audio is 5 seconds or less and less than 300KB — otherwise an error warning will appear on the screen.
Directly through Settings
Open Telegram and tap/click on the “Settings” tab. Then go to “Notifications & Sounds”, select “Private Chats”, “Groups”, “Channels” or “Stories”, tap “Sound” and “Send Sound” (in case of iPhone/iPad) or go to “Notification Tone” via the Mac app. Then use the file manager to select the desired sound.
Very cool! ????
