The Memphis Bandits proved that the legend of Elvis Presley lives on.

GRAMATNEUSIEDL: With high summer temperatures, fans from the area as far as Salzburg came for a musical journey through time to the 50s. The band Memphis Bandits, exuded the magic and legacy of Elvis Presley during their 2-hour show. With a combination of virtuoso performance and authentic passion, the band brought the legendary hits of the king of rock ‘n’ roll to life and made the hearts of the audience beat faster.
From the signature hip movements to the distinctive vocal tones, the Memphis Bandits brought back the essence of Elvis in a fascinating way.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the selection of the songs. Classics like “Hound Dog”, “Don’t Be Cruel” are number 1. “Jailhouse Rock” or “Don’t be Cruel” were just as much a part of the program as were recordings from the legendary SUN studios of the past, like that such as “Blue Moon of Kentucky” or “That’s Alright”.

The reactions of the enthusiastic visitors

Rosa, Franz and Johanna came on the recommendation of a travel agency to review their youth. Sieglinde, Hermann and Hedi cherished memories of this time of Rock’n Roll. Tina Dendl from Amstetten even came in appropriate clothing with a ruffled skirt to express her enthusiasm. But Michaela, accompanied by Hannes, also adapted her clothes to the motto.

More than 220 visitors streamed into the “Cafe Im Wittnerhof” that evening and it was sold out, so that the box office only had 9 tickets left, which were quickly taken.
Many booked in advance so as not to miss this unique experience and were glad to have reserved tickets in advance when they arrived at the box office; So did Ingrid and Sepp, who proudly showed the cards. The joy and fun was written all over the visitors’ faces.
The concert-goers sang, clapped or danced along as if they were living in the golden years of rock ‘n’ roll. It was not just a concert, but a collective journey down memory lane that underscored the timeless appeal of Elvis’ music.

As the evening drew to a close, the Memphis Bandits left a lasting impression on the hearts of the audience. Because of the roaring applause of the audience, encores by Johnny Cash such as “Folsom Prison Blues” or “Ring of Fire” were played.
