A suspect in a sexual assault and murder case in Sillim-dong, Seoul was arrested last night.
The victim who died was an elementary school teacher who went out to participate in training even during vacation and suffered a disaster.
The bereaved family and acquaintances might not hide their sadness and anger, saying that he was a responsible younger brother who took care of the dirty work.

Last Thursday, Choi Mo, a man in his 30s who was accused of assaulting and sexually assaulting a woman he had never seen before on a hiking trail in Sillim-dong, was arrested last night.
The court said it issued an arrest warrant considering the death of the victim.
The police are changing Choi’s charges from rape and injury to rape and murder and are focusing on finding intentionality of the murder.
We are continuing the investigation to see if Choi deliberately prepared for the crime following purchasing the bundle of iron used in the crime in April, or whether he hit the victim mercilessly even following knowing that the victim might die.
Through this, if the crime of rape and murder is applied, Mr. Choi can be sentenced to the maximum death penalty.
The victim, who was an elementary school teacher, was reported to have left the house to participate in training ahead of school opening on the day of the incident.
Acquaintances said that the deceased did the work that everyone was reluctant to do, and that he was a responsible person who went to work an hour early every day.

The bereaved family might not hide their sorrow.
The bereaved family who met the MBC reporters at the mortuary expressed their feelings, saying, “As soon as I got the call and arrived at the hospital, I heard that ‘it’s hard to pass today'” and “I sent my younger brother unprepared for the sudden death.”
He also said, “My younger brother, who was always worried regarding his family, has already passed away and can’t testify. I hope that the story of the perpetrator will not be considered in the police investigation.”
The police plan to conduct an autopsy on the victim’s body tomorrow to determine the exact cause of death, and decide whether to disclose the identity of the suspect Choi within this week.
