Coach Jorge Jesus surprised the Saudi Al Hilal fans when he revealed, on Saturday evening, that the newly joined Brazilian star, Neymar da Silva, was suffering from an injury.
Jesus said, in the press conference, following facing Al-Hilal and Al-Fayha for the account of the second round of the Roshen Saudi Professional League:
We will improve offensively in the coming days following Neymar joins the team. Neymar is one of the best players in the world and he will add a lot for us. Neymar has a minor injury that will prevent him from participating in training over the coming days. So far, the duration of his absence has not been determined. The presence of Brazilian players in our team will make us stronger, because they have the individual skill which is very important.
On Saturday evening, Al Hilal Saudi Arabia presented its new star, Neymar, in front of thousands of fans in the capital, Riyadh.
The ceremony witnessed extensive use of fireworks and drones, as happened in the presentation ceremonies of Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and Frenchman Karim Benzema, Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad players, respectively.
