A snow and rain storm hits a large part of Neuquén and Río Negro since this Friday. For this reason the National Metereological Service (SMN) issued an orange alert for this Saturday and a red one for Sunday in Neuquén. The situation affected the passability of the main roads of the province, among them, National Route 40which was closed in the section seven lakes.

The Undersecretary of Civil Defense of Neuquén, Martin Giustiexplained to BLACK RIVER Journal that the aforementioned national road will remain interrupted between San Martín de los Andes and Villa La Angostura All night long.

In all the cases it was clarified that the use and carrying of chains is mandatory during alerts issued by the SMN.


Despite the long weekend, low traffic on the Neuquén routes
