The Governor of Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora, expressed his support for the candidacy of Sergio Massa for the presidential elections on October 22.
“Today more than ever I am convinced that Massa is the proposal that best suits the interests of the people of Santiago and Argentine federalism,” said Zamora. In the PASO on Sunday, August 12, Massa obtained 57 percent in Santiago del Estero.
The provincial president thus joined other peers, such as Gustavo Saenz de Salta, who spoke in favor of the current Minister of Economy and candidate of the Union for the Homeland (UxP).
Zamora explained that the support is given “above all, now that Javier Milei is uniting with part of the caste that he criticizes so much “especially -he emphasized- with the incorporation of a sector of the PRO, with Mauricio Macri at the head, according to the expressions of the libertarian candidate”.
“The idea of both to eliminate the co-participation, the ministries of Health, Education, Culture, Public Works and Sports, among others, would be to return to that country of the early 1900s that libertarians proclaim so much, as a supposedly rich country but for 20 families while the rest are left without rights and possibilities for nothing”, he explained.
