Bar Office in Amsterdam West: delicious vegetarian food and a large sunny terrace!
You have certainly passed Bar Kantoor: you can already see it as soon as you enter the Westerpark. A wonderfully wide terrace where you can catch the last rays of the sun, and also a very stylish place inside. Ideal if you have been to Fabrique des Lumières, for example! We are immediately warmly welcomed and there are still plenty of tables in the sun to choose from.

Delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes
What immediately strikes us is how many tasty dishes there are on the menu of Bar Kantoor. We actually want to try everything! It is therefore ideal that it is a shared dining concept: you can order a lot and share it with your friends. And do you have choice stress (trust us, it can be hard with so many delicious options)? Then choose the Chef’s Choice menu! What’s extra nice is that everything is vegetarian or vegan, but you don’t miss a piece of meat or fish for a moment. With the different textures and flavors, every dish is really interesting and super tasty!

Watermelon tataki and Karaage Cauliflower
Which dishes do you definitely want to try? As far as we are concerned, the watermelon tataki is number one. Beautifully decorated, and because of the ponzu, nori and sesame it almost gives you the idea that you are eating Japanese tuna tataki. Really insanely delicious! If you like Japanese dishes, be sure to order the Okonomiyaki: a Japanese pancake with pointed cabbage and tasty sauces. We also found the Karaage Cauliflower – cauliflower baked in a crispy layer with a spicy dipping sauce – very tasty. But there are also dishes from other cuisines on the menu. For example, go for the eggplant in Szechuan sauce, an open lasagna or ravioli!
Vegan Pavlova that melts in your mouth
And of course there are also a number of delicious desserts on the menu. We tasted the vegan pavlova: these meringues really melt in your mouth. Together with the caramel ice cream and red fruit, the perfect end to our dinner! If you’re looking for a place where you can enjoy great food with a sunny terrace, look no further than Bar Kantoor!
