ABU DHABI > Sheikh Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairperson of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood and Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), accepts nominations for the Women’s Sports Awards. Nominations are being accepted by Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy. Eligible candidates can register through the official website www.fbmwomensportsaward.ae. Eligible sports organizations, federations and individuals can submit nominations. Nominations for the seventh edition of the award will be accepted till August 31. The award winners will be announced at a ceremony on November 15. The Fatima Bint Mubarak Women’s Sports Award is one of the most important awards for women’s sports in the Arab region. The award is presented by the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. Applications are being accepted for nominations in 11 categories. The awards are Best Arab Female Athlete, Best Emirati Female Athlete, Best Youth Athlete, Best Paralympic Athlete, Best Female/Male Coach, Best Sports Media, Best Youth Development Programme, Best Team and Best Sports Creative Initiative.
