Five teams in nine years
Since coming to the NFL as the first player taken in the 2014 Draft, Clowney has played for five different franchises. His first team was the Houston Texans and he was with them for five seasons. With the Texan team he earned all three Pro Bowl invites of his career and his only second-team NFL All-Pro nomination.
Subsequently, he played in 2019 with the Seattle Seahawks and recorded the only interception of his career. He even managed to get the ball into the diagonals. For 2020, the pass rusher moved to Tennessee to play for the Titans, but he only played eight games.
Finally, Clowney spent the last two years with the Cleveland Browns. In his lifetime, the South Carolina graduate has played in 109 regular season games and has amassed 320 tackles, 43 sacks, 90 tackles for loss and four defensive touchdowns.
