Vienna (OTS) – On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, the City of Vienna – road administration and road construction will start with roadway repair work at the crossing plateau Rechte Wienzeile/Preßgasse and in the Rechte Wienzeile immediately following the crossing with Kettenbrückengasse in the 4th district due to time damage.

The work on the Rechte Wienzeile will take place between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. while maintaining one lane. The work in Preßgasse will take place over two days between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. From Mühlgasse to Rechte Wienzeile, Preßgasse becomes a provisional cul-de-sac. Bus route 59A will be diverted via Heumühlgasse, the “Preßgasse” stop will be temporarily relocated in front of the Rechte Wienzeile house number 23. Pedestrian traffic remains intact.
