After the bike stolen from Fady Dagher, now even the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) had one of its vehicles stolen earlier this week in Montreal.

According to our information, the stolen vehicle is a luxurious black 2022 Chevrolet Suburban, whose new value is around $100,000.

The imposing SUV was not lettered in the colors of the SQ, it is rather an unmarked vehicle.

It was stolen on Tuesday morning, on Laporte Avenue, in the Saint-Henri district, in Montreal.

The theft was reported to police officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), who then relayed the investigation to their colleagues at the SQ.

Investigators from the Major Crimes Division are leading the case and no arrests have yet been made. The Chevrolet Suburban has not yet been found either.

“No weapon, identification or police document was in the passenger compartment,” said the SQ, which however refused to reveal who was using this vehicle within its ranks.

Remember that a few weeks ago, even the head of the SPVM had his bike stolen by a criminal. Fady Dagher’s bike was in front of the SPVM headquarters on rue Saint-Urbain when it was stolen.

According to the most recent statistics, nearly thirty vehicles are stolen daily on the island of Montreal.
