A group of six tourists, five French and one Swiss, are said to have raped an 18-year-old British woman last Monday. The alleged perpetrators are all in their early 20s and are said to have met the victim beforehand in the party stronghold of Magaluf on Mallorca.
The newspaper «Ultima Hora» reports that the alleged gang rapists their act in more than 20 videos arrested before the victim might escape. This was the result of an examination of the cell phones of those arrested.
“She was so upset”
The incident happened last Monday. The six young men between the ages of 20 and 25 assured the judge and the public prosecutor that the sex with the 18-year-old British woman was consensual, writes “Ultima Hora”.
After the alleged gang rape of the British woman, the police received by a security guard an emergency call. As the British “Sun” writes, the security found the young woman sobbing in the lobby of the hotel. “I came to my morning shift and found her on the ground, she was so upset,” said the man, who did not want to be named.
Because the victim was able to describe the perpetrators precisely, the men were arrested a short time later and detention ordered. They were denied bail. There is no official charge yet – according to the Spanish police, the investigation is currently in full swing. It is the presumption of innocence.
