The 11th Crime Chamber of Córdoba condemned Ariel Britos to three years and six months in prison (41) for the manslaughter of Nicolás Jankunas (18).

Joaquín Paredes’ mother following the ruling: “Everyone should have received a life sentence”

The road accident occurred on June 4, 2017 in the Coronel Olmedo neighborhood, where the two motorcycles collided. Due to the collision, Jankunas died while Britos was unharmed.

Testimony

Jankunas’s mother, Roxana Maldonado, showed herself “very dissatisfied” following knowing the sentence.

“We wanted this person to be arrested. Although nothing reaches us or returns us to Nico. Three and a half years of sentence are not enough for me. They give him many rights that do not correspond to him “the woman maintained.

“Justice was not served. The responsibility of not having a driver’s license at 41, the age of this murderer. You have to re-educate him”added in statements to Radio University.
