Dodgers Extend Winning Streak to 11 Games with 1-0 Victory over Brewers

LOS ANGELES — Austin Barnes hit a solo homer in the eighth inning and it was enough for the Los Angeles Dodgers to win their 11th consecutive victory, beating the Milwaukee Brewers 1-0 on Thursday night.

The NL West-leading Dodgers swept Central-leading Milwaukee with a combined 14-3 win in all three games.

It was the 12th shutout for Los Angeles this season.

Lance Lynn was dueling once morest Corbin Burnes, the 2021 Cy Young Award winner who retired 10 straight batters, including six by striking out. The two left without a decision.

Caleb Ferguson (7-3) got the win with one-inning relief relief. Evan Philips pitched the ninth for his 18th save.

Barnes hit his first home run since Sept. 20, 2022. He found a pitch from Joel Payamps (4-3) and put the ball into the lower right-field seats.

For the Brewers, the Venezuelans William Contreras 4-0, Andruw Monasterio 3-0. Dominicans Carlos Santana 4-0, Willy Adames 4-0. Puerto Rican Víctor Caratini 3-0.

For the Dodgers, the Venezuelan David Peralta 4-0. Puerto Rican Kiké Hernández 3-0.
