Mariano Caprarola, a panelist on “La cage de la moda”, died this Thursday at the age of 49. He had been hospitalized for three days and died of hemorrhagic shock that triggered cardiac arrest.
The entertainment journalist Ángel de Brito was in charge of communicating the news on social networks. De Brito also pointed out that Caprarola’s death is linked to an intervention that was made some time ago with Aníbal Lotocki, accused of malpractice in other celebrity cases, such as that of Silvina Luna, currently hospitalized in serious condition.
“He was hospitalized undergoing routine controls for renal calcification, which he did periodically, due to complications derived from the surgeries,” De Brito commented, although without referring directly to Lotocki. “Another victim,” wrote the journalist.
“Many years ago, he was hospitalized for this problem, plus the substance he was trying to get out of the body,” he added.
In the same vein, Luciana Salazar commented: “My God, what a horror!!! Another lotocki victim?”
What Caprarola had said regarding Lotocki
At the beginning of July, in a television interview, Caprarola was consulted regarding the situation of Silvina Luna, and he referred to Lotocki, who intervened with both of them injecting methacrylate.
“First it made me sick, I have kidney failure. I cannot say the word murderer because that will be ruled by Justice when they put him in prison, but the day that Justice puts him behind bars there I will go out and say ‘it’s a murderer’, today I can’t”, the panelist said then.
“Silvina is a great friend. I did not pay (for the intervention), as no one paid. I cannot name him… when I name him, it causes me such great pain in my soul, because I was even a guarantor of his clinic, imagine the degree of confidence that he had”, he revealed.
And he continued: “I was an asshole and I did something stupid, for not thinking regarding the consequences, but you never think that a friend is going to betray you, that he is going to inject you with death.”
In the same interview, he said that later, another doctor removed the methacrylate from his body and that he told him that it was “like cutting a plastic bottle.”
