Kuwaiti actress Shams responded to the criticism leveled at her because of her talk regarding religion and her denial of the Day of Resurrection, stressing that she studied medicine and religion and speaks in her specialty.
Shams said: “I can’t talk regarding something without understanding it, and I studied a lot and did a lot of studies, and I say my opinion regarding what I understand regarding it; Because I studied psychology and all religions, politics and medicine, and it benefits people, because our Lord will hold me accountable if I do not say the word of truth.” Shams added, “Our society confines women and tells them to stay in the kitchen, but I am once morest this, and I see that women must do what they want.”
