Doja – whose real name is Amala Dlamini – angered her fans recently when she asked her fans to get off the web.

She wrote last month: “My fans are not allowed to call themselves names. If your name is ‘kitten’ or ‘kittenz’ it means you have to put down your phone, find a job and help your parents. housekeeping. My life, my rules, my style, my attitude.”

Doja’s comments were later questioned by one of her fans, who pointed out that they had been supporting her “through thick and thin”.

In response, Doja said, “Nobody forced you, I don’t know why you talk to me like you’re my mother, you talk like crazy” Doja had previously admitted to being inspired by Nicki Minaj, whose fans are often called Barbz. The rapper was impressed with Nicki’s success and the way she handled her music career. She told Elle magazine: “I think as a businesswoman she really inspired me. The way Nicki behaved felt almost foreign to me, because I was kind of like a little girl. an aborted kid locked in her room watching YouTube videos and I was like, ‘Damn, that’s awesome’.
