On January 19th, 2024 the Swedish melodic power metal band METALITE will release what is probably their most gigantic studio album to date via AFM Records, the single “Blazing Skies” is out now.
„Expedition One“ tells the fictional story of life on our planet in the year 2055. The fourth METALITE – Album inspires with a variety of varied compositions and an intelligent sci-fi story that might hardly be more up-to-date. In addition, the band proves their artistic development on their upcoming masterpiece. The expedition is musically implemented with 16 multi-faceted songs that unite all the virtues of the five-piece band: powerful, filigree guitar riffs and solos, hymn-like melodies by singer Erica Ohlsson, driving rhythms and cleverly placed keyboard sounds. Expedition One was produced by METALITE guitarist and band mastermind Edwin Premberg, and mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen.
Pre-orders of this early 2024 album highlight, one that will belong in every well-stocked power and melodic metal record collection, are now available HERE possible!
“In the past four or five years, our sound has changed noticeably,” so Premberg, and continues: “The production quality in particular has improved significantly since our debut.”
After a first single release, “Disciples Of The Stars” and an epic album trailer that goes into more detail regarding the concept of the record, the band is celebrating the video premiere of their brand new, powerful single “Blazing Skies” today! You can now see the new METALITE clip here:
“We are so excited to bring you Ted Lindén / Bullsize Production’s epic video for this bombastic song today,” commented on the band. “The song really is a bang in the classic Metalite vein and it feels like we’ve upped the ante since our last album. We hope you enjoy it and look forward to playing the song live soon!”
