After an alpha phase last March, Hyena will be playable once more during a closed beta which will begin on August 31st. As a reminder, this “Fast-FPS in PVPVE”, developed by Creative Assembly (Alien: Isolation), offers 15 players divided into 5 teams of 3 to collect precious goods in spaceships before fleeing to win the bet. Enough to put in place strategies such as, for example, letting a team take care of the vault and then, following eliminating your opponents, come and loot the premises yourself.
A concept which, following Hunt: Showdown, The Finals or even the DMZ mode of Warzone 2.0, is no longer truly innovative. Fortunately, Hyena tries to stand out with certain areas of the map that can switch to zero gravity mode, for even more messy fights. Players will also be able to choose from several characters with distinct skills.
If you have already participated in the alpha, you should automatically receive a new key for the beta by the end of the month. Otherwise, you can register by clicking on the “request access” button on on the Steam page of Hyena.
