Starting today, music lovers have one more reason to adjust their monthly budget. That’s because the Amazon announced a 29.4% increase in the price of the individual subscription to Music Unlimited; the value rose, in Brazil, from R$17 to BRL 22/month.

In addition, the annual plan has also been readjusted and will go from R$170 to R$220. On the other hand, fortunately, the Family plan has not changed and continues to cost R$35/month (or R$350/year) — unlike other countries, where this plan has also been readjusted. In the United States, for example, he was from US$16 to US$17 monthly, or from US$160 to US$170 annually.

Amazon confirmed the information to the MacMagazine and he also said that the values will start to be valid from September 19 for subscribers to these plans. However, prices have already started to apply as of today for new subscribers.

It is worth noting the difference between Amazon Music and Music Unlimited. Although both have access to millions of songs and several podcasts, Unlimited subscribers can choose what they want to listen to and have Ultra HD quality already included in the plan.

In September 2022, Apple Music also adjusted its subscription plans. The individual plan went from R$17 to R$22 per month, while the family plan jumped from R$25 to R$35 per month. Only the university plan remained at R$12/month.
