Why is the holiday of this Thursday, August 17, moved to Monday?

A long weekend is coming up. The days will be an ideal time to enjoy a getaway or just rest.

So, This Thursday, August 17, a new anniversary of the death is commemorated of General Jose de San Martin. However, the national holiday moved to next Monday 21 of August.

As reported by the Government, Monday August 21 will be a bridge holiday to promote tourism. In this way the long weekend will be from Saturday 19 to Monday 21 August.
