The future plans in Hütteldorf continue. With Kenny Nzogang, another promising talent might be tied to the club for the next three years. The 15-year-old signs his first young professional contract, which runs until the summer of 2026.
After a few positions in youth football in Vienna, the winger moved from the SC Red Star Penzing youth team to Hütteldorf in the summer of 2022, where he has been working at the green and white academy ever since. Last season, the ÖFB junior national team player made 19 appearances for the SK Rapid U15s. He got five hits. Towards the end of last season, Kenny Nzogang was also allowed to play four times one age group higher with the U16 academy team in the ÖFB youth league.
Managing Director SK Rapid Steffen Hofmann sees great potential in the offensive player: “Kenny has an incredible pace, strengths in one-on-ones and a certain variability in the offensive that characterizes him. We want to help him to fully exploit his potential and we are pleased that he wants to take this step in Hütteldorf.”
Academy director Willi Schuldes also found words of praise: “Kenny’s development process over the past few months speaks for itself. Of course he still has a lot to learn as a young player, but he has good abilities and embodies the game of a modern winger.”
