Wednesday’s violent AEW Dynamite main event saw Jon Moxley defeat Kenny Omega, courtesy of Don Callis igniting Omega with a screwdriver to the head as Omega went for the win. The match featured guns, blood, appearances from the Young Bucks and Blackpool Combat Club and a cage-smashing V-Trigger.
The big turn saw Callis hit Omega with a screwdriver, which allowed Moxley to get the pin. Callis went for another screwdriver shot but opted to scream in Omega’s face and kiss him on the forehead instead as the fans booed.
As seen below, AEW released post-show footage of Alex Marvez trying to get comment from Callis. Callis, who was on the phone with someone, walked right past Marvez and went to her car. AEW also released footage of the Young Bucks helping Omega from the back. The clip opens with Omega screaming for Callis. Omega then wondered who he might trust.
“If I can’t trust the Bucks, if I can’t trust my family… who can I trust? Who can I trust? asked Omega.
It’s not yet clear where AEW is heading now with Callis and Omega, but we’ll keep you posted.
#BlackpoolCombatClub‘s @JonMoxley has made his way into the @LCArena_Detroit and the crowd is PUMPED!
