At a press conference, the Temporary Budget Committee for 2024 presented the preliminary draft of the INE budget with the amounts that will be requested from the Chamber of Deputies for the development of institutional activities for next year.
The president of the Commission, Counselor Carla Humphrey, mentioned that the amount to be requested is 23 thousand 757.45 million pesos and referred to the institutional portfolio of projects that make up the budget.
He explained that a precautionary budget of 3 thousand 568.63 million pesos was contemplated and it will only be used if the requirements for a popular consultation or for the holding of extraordinary elections are met.
