Sydney: The incident in which three people who participated in a family feast in Australia died of food poisoning was not intentional, the woman said. Erin Patterson told police she accidentally added the poisonous mushroom to her food and did not intend to kill her loved ones.
Those who ate beef wellington were poisoned. The death cap found at Leangatha, regarding two kilometers from Melbourne, was added during cooking. The woman told the police that these were bought from the store along with other mushrooms and she did not know that they were poisonous. Erin was preceded in death by her ex-husband’s parents and another relative. One remains in critical condition. Erin herself cooked the meal. Within hours of eating, all four people started feeling physically unwell. They say that they thought it might be food poisoning and only realized that the condition was serious following being admitted to the hospital. The investigation reaches the young woman when four people become seriously ill following eating the food, but Erin does not see any health problems. But Erin said she also experienced physical discomfort following eating and sought treatment.
