A second later, two men appear, one in police uniform, the other in civilian clothes, to violently tackle the individual who was getting up. The uniformed policeman then raises his arm as if to strike, then the video suddenly stops.
Images viewed more than a million times on X which did not fail to provoke controversy, in the midst of a debate on police violence following the death of young Nahel, killed by the shooting of a police officer. Two police officers injured
The Hauts-de-Seine prefecture explains that the violently arrested individual was traveling on a two-wheeler and had “refused to comply, burned a fire and then hit a police car”.
BFMTV indicates that the two agents were injured in the operation, being prescribed one and seven days of total incapacity for work.
